His private life was way overexposed by the media in my opinion. The media should be focusing on how bad the economy is and all these other problems instead of on Wiener's biceps. But what can I say, the general population cares more about celebrities than that.

What he did was wrong, that's true, but he shouldn't have resigned. The only reason he actually decided to do it was because Obama said "I would resign if I were him."

A little ,but i have high expectations lol. It's just really unprofessional. All politicans are risk takers, but dude you got caught. The world has seen your genitals. I feel it is right for him to resign, it's just the proper thing to do. we all can't sit around and ignore it. I'm sick of seeing him on the news though. This is why all the other countries laugh at us. We over here throwing a fit over some personal pictures. While al'queda is appointing a new leader. Okay, i think i'm done with my little hissy-fit.

It's shame he's a Tech alum. Is he really the guest speaker at graduation this year?

Agree 100%. What he did was wrong, but his private life is his private life. The media prefers to focus on scandals rather than important issues. He shouldn't have had to resign, because I'm positive his private life does not affect his political views and what he could have achieved.

Sarcasm is fun ... I use it a lot.

He had potential, and this shouldn't have caused everyone to destroy him. He deserved a better exit but c'est la vie.

As a graduating senior, I'm wondering, who WILL be speaking at our graduation?

He's the New York City Public Advocate. Basically, if something happens to Bloomberg, he becomes the new mayor.

I've heard Blasio's name often during my work at the local community office. He seems to be a very active political figure.
