I'm fairly sure Go-L is a scam. I remember seeing multiple threads about them in many forums.

Heres one:

Why on earth would anyone need a monitor that big? It would take up a lot space, you'd have to keep turning your head to see everything on the screen, and you'd be spending way too much money I'm sure.

My dad works in computer programming sector of the NYSE (SIAC). He has seen screens like this (not this one in particular though) since the NYSE deals with many different systems. In addition, to maintain a mobile trading floor in Downtown Brooklyn, screens of these sizes are needed.

The size does seem a little bit ridiculous, but I've seen pictures of a person who hooked up...9? or more screens together and played Microsoft Flight Simulator with it. All the views were present, and I'm guessing that creates a better game experience?

It's interesting how people pay $0-20 for a game.

Then $200+ for a video card. Then hundreds for a cool monitor. Oh, and a good headset, that's $20-30.

The size is absurd. And the thing with hooking up 9 screens. So your going to have to look around all over the place. I dont think this is necessary for personal use.

A computer isnt necesary for personal use, its called luxuries.

A computer is crossing the line between a luxury and a necessity, at least for our generation.

I barely use my computer for school, sometimes to look up a few things, but this can be done at the library, it would be convienient to do it at your own home but not neccesary.

Sometimes it's nearly impossible to get a computer at the library, and it takes away too much time from other things.

If your willing to wait it's possible. Thats why its a luxury and not a need. But now i owuld say about 95%(just a educated guess) of kids have home computers.

In theory we can narrow down our necessities in life to just the water food, and shelter (not entirely a necessity, also).

But we don't. Although it is POSSIBLE to get by nowadays without a computer, it is very, very hard. And the time you spend at the library takes away from the rest of your HW and studying.

So in reality, having a computer is a necessity for people our age, nowadays.

That also takes time out of your day.

I'm also referring to the fact that sometimes teachers ask for something to be typed...and most of us don't have a typewriter, even if we did a small typo would require you to start over.
