When will our schedule for next year show up on daedalus?

-______-. You do realize administrators at Tech have to analyze over 4,000 regents scores along with all the incoming freshmen info and that school only just ended 2 weeks ago right? It probably won't happen until September, last year it was out literally a day or two before school started and even then I think it was a class list not really in order.
Also, as a future sophomore you already know about your acceptances into APs and Honors as well as other future classes.

My friend will be helping out at the Programming Office in August so it's unlikely you'll be able to see your schedule anytime soon. AnAndrenalin is right, it showed up one or two days before the first day. By then, you'll be able to see which classes you will be taking and your teachers for those classes.

So our assigned classes are going to be based on our regents grades?

Well you do have to pass your regents...
But in terms of, are we going to be placed in classes with others with similar grades? I don't know. I don't think so :/
& I hope not, but then again I don't want to be with a bunch of people who barely passed.

Check the week before school. That's usually when they come out.

Programs are usually not finalized until the end of the summer when the official budget comes in from Tweed. When the budget is made available programming can occur and students can be placed into classes once sections open up and so forth.
