As of right now, the site is on BETA and the only way to sign up is by an invitation from others users.
IMHO, I will not use this website, Google has already messed YouTube up and I don't see the point of Google wasting more money to create this new site.

With a click of a button, I could access my email, my google docs, my photo album, youtube, a search engine, and basically everything else that google offers. Facebook better step up its game.

What facebook has very little of that google doesn't have is privacy. This is a common argument, since google has your search history, youtube video views, etc., your friends might see something that you'd like to keep private. I doubt Google+ will save its users a substantial amount of time, however i have yet to try it (although I don't think I will). I believe that the link is https://plus.google.com/
Anyway, although I'm sure there are pros and cons to both fb and google+, is yet another social networking site necessary altogether? When I was in 6th grade, everyone in my grade had a myspace, so I got a myspace. Then everyone switched to aim. Then again to facebook. Personally, I just want one place that I could go on to get the homework once a week. Change is cool and all, but I don't need a new, slightly different social networking website every year.

I like the Circles idea, though. Might prevent some embarrassing stuff from being shown to your parents or family.

In a few months, Facebook will be installing a video chat system via Skype that will enable Facebook accounts to instantly video chat with their friends.

The video chat system is appealing, but doesn't google offer video chat already? Nonetheless, I still won't be joining google+, even if it offers several mildly interesting features that facebook doesn't. I'm not really a supporter of facebook, however as I mentioned earlier, changing social networking sites so often isn't practical. Of course, as Shariful said, it won't replace facebook (not yet anyway), but people are curious and Google+ is getting more and more popular rather quickly. Domino effect much?

Unless Google can somehow magically import all this without FB stopping it, then I'll have a hard time using Google+.
I like giraffes. :)

And you were... how old when you used Myspace? 8? o_o;
DUN DUN DUNNN!
I honestly don't care if the social networking site has video chat or not. Just use AIM, MSN, OovoO, Skype, or some other program. Really don't get why social networking sites feel the need to add some whacky, bugged-out applications that are already implemented in popular IMing clients...
