Okay, this question may be kinda...stupid-ish or perhaps irrelevant now.

So just wondering, when you apply with early decision, does the college tell you the amount of financial aid/ scholarship they will give you before you get accepted?

I mean, if you get accepted to a school thats like 50+k per year, and you cannot afford it, what are you going to do?
cuz i heard that if you get accepted to your "early decision college" you may file no further college applications and must withdraw any other applications that have already been submitted

You'll need to apply to financial aid and scholarships on your own but I am quite sure colleges will definitely consider you for those automatically considering you are willing to give them your social security number on the application (that is the reason being so). Early decision is binding and should only be used if its a school you have been wanting to go to since you knew what college even was (so I've heard). Anyhow, do not worry about this yet because deadlines are still months away. During the fall, the majority of workshops will focus on financial aid so be sure to attend those to know all you can :)

I see you are a junior so it's good to know ahead. You still have a lot of time.

The college will tell you your financial aid package.
You can get out of ED if you cant afford it.

I strongly suggest calling the financial aid office and tell them about your situation. It doesnt hurt to ask and you never know if theyll throw in more money.
