I'm sure one of you techies have obtained the WEP key by scanning the air waves or some other way.

Scanning the air wha?

Well uh...I'm not quite sure what you would need the WEP key for but I have no idea what you're talking about by scanning air waves.

How do you even...

Okay. So if you scan the air waves to find any points, you're basically presented with a WEP-key protected router. That's like a password screen.
I'm not sure how you could find the password by scanning for the router. It's like trying to obtain a password by going to the password screen.

It's not illegal for students to use the school's internet, it's illegal to be doing so on a cell phone but only cause you're not supposed to have those. If you bring a laptop into school then nobody's gonna bother you if you use the school's internet. It's there as a resource for the school.

You can find out the info for it by asking around - more than enough people know it and I wouldn't be surprised if a teacher gives it to you.
