I'm an imcoming freshmen and I was wondering what time I should come to school on thursday? Should I come around 8 or should I come earlier. I heard the lines to get in the school was very long. Thanks in advance :)

The lines aren't very long if you come a bit early, but still they do tend to get long. You can wait it out if you like, it doesn't take that long to get into the school.
Come a little earlier, just enough so that you can be on time at 8.

I like giraffes. :)

1st day usually opens at 8 for prefect and prefect is a prolonged period of time where they give schedules/metrocards and you sit and talk the rest of the time. You can come in later; doesn't really matter. Lines probably won't be that long because it's all walk-in; no need to swipe.

Or even five to 10 minutes late :)
Like it was said before, first day is a free for all walk in, no scanning your (nonextistant, for you freshmen) IDs.
