Well, I got some nice teachers all before lunch... and after lunch is just horrible.
Anyway, how was your first day? (Curious mostly about freshmen)

Last year I was told you go to a different guidance counselor, is that the same this year?
I really need to get some teachers changed...

My day was pretty awesome, besides the fact that I got yelled at by a girl who I accidentally sprinkled rain water with.
I need a new locker room though. The one I have right now closes too early, and I'm not sure if it has a 1st period class so I can gain access to it.
Other than that, I like all of my teachers so far. Mr.Tao is actually pretty entertaining, but I'm still dropping out of his class, and I'm debating on whether or not I should do the rexo sheet he gave us...

Just go to the guidance counselor that's on your current schedule.

as a freshman i enjoyed my day.it wasnt as bad as i expected and it isnt as hard to navigate as some made it seem. my teachers seem okay for now...i mean i have brutus but he was nice. i also did an english essay but it wasnt bad.
sorta enjoyed the school today but i can tell they give a lot of work

Just manage your time well and you'll do fine... Procrastination will be the death of you in Brooklyn Tech.

The work load is something you'll get used to . Usually most teachers are pretty fair with homework. I enjoyed my first day too but it was incredibly slow!

i could go to class for the entire day if i only had to do math and physics

Literature lessons are usually taught a little later on in the year, like next week. Even so, you can't really expect someone to "teach" you literature -- it's subjective; mostly up to your interpretation. The most a teacher could do is help you express your thoughts more clearly.

As for the annoying guy who shouts out memes, you could always try to get him to stop (politely, of course...) Swearing like you are now won't help the situation, though. It's better to solve things in a rational manner.

My day was amazing! All of my teachers are amazing. The only downsides are the stairs and my loooooooong schedule.

That's what you get for taking so many AP classes. xD Btw, I didn't see you at lunch (probably because I only have a vague idea of what you look like). I was going to sit with a group of friends, but a Junior dragged me to her table. :X

Horrible first day. Stairs is confusing with people going down and up in opposite directions occasionally so you have to stop for them but I understand both stairways maybe clogged. I didn't get to eat lunch because of the amount of people lining up for lunch. At least I have 2 teachers that understand and let me eat in class. It's hard to differentiate between the north and south side of the school so can anyone give me some tips? Tech is just filled with all sorts of people, the first thing I saw when I got out at dismissal was a kid with a joint (possibly marijuana tucked between his ear and head). I have free periods 10 and 11 so is there anyway I can add classes (im in gateway) ? What do I do during the free period I have first on thurs and friday? Streets and sidewalks are very crowded.

Are you allowed to use elevators?
Does anyone know Ms. Yee? She seems new to teaching.
