Lol hectic day today, got lost i dont know how many times, my favorite teacher is probably mr.Tao but ill probably regret that right? Anyways I can wait for tomorrow, however i am confused, when/where do i sign up for clubs, i dont know 1 soul at BT lol so i get lost quite often. Ideas anyone?

Also sorry add on, do they have band/music club??? If so where?

Mr. Tao's my all-time favorite teacher at Brooklyn Tech and I always make it a point to visit him every time I visit Tech.

Admittedly, I'd say he has an interesting sense of humor and mannerisms, but that description does injustice on how good of a math teacher he is.

If you stick through to the end and make a conscious effort to stay afloat in his class (I'll argue it's impossible to ever stay on top of work with Mr. Tao), you'll be very well prepared for higher level math.

Oh ok cool thanks, im just getting used to the school. They didnt explain the compass thing to me.

Tech is a very large school, no doubt about that. But happily, somebody in the past had the foresight to number rooms using the compass direction system.

North (facing Fort Greene Park)
East (towards Clinton Hill)
South (towards Prospect Heights)
West (towards Downtown Brooklyn & Lower Manhattan)

It totally beats the heck out of the number coding system I've seen at other schools (e.g.: One school I've been to had "-20" rooms are compass South, "-30" rooms are compass West, etc.)

Brooklyn Tech Class of 2006 ▶ Bio-Med Major

Hunter College 2011 ▶ Biochemistry (BA) | Adolescent Education (MA)

You don't need experience for any clubs. Just have an interest in it.

Last year I heard a guy from the club say (during club fair), "If you don't play an instrument then you probably shouldn't be here"
That was what discouraged me from joining last year since I wasn't that good, but this year I'll be joining^_^
