Question regarding sport teams

So, like JV teams and varsity teams. When they play against other schools, I know they play on weekends. Do both teams play on the same day, for example Saturday. Or does like varsity play on Saturday and JV plays on sunday? And the sport i'm asking about is basketball. Thanks for any help

you can look up team schedules your self, @ http://psal.org just look up the school and then the team

JV is is junior varsity which is where mostly freshmen and sophomores will be at. Games are also held on school nights. No, JV and V do not have games on the same day.There is no such rule on which days each team will have a game. Info about tryouts will be announced and posted on bths.
