Skedula is still very much a work in progress from what I can see. It has the potential to be quite good for everyone involved (students, parents, teachers, administrators, etc.) once everything is ironed out.
If the administration is being hush about it for now, it's probably because of logistics of implementation. It's quite cumbersome and labor-intensive on the back end from what I can see.
