You can still fail without cutting. If you get 0s on everything the chances of failing the course, even if you attend is 100%.

If I understand your question correctly, the current policy sets 50 as the lowest failing grade that can be assigned unless there are attendance issues (cutting, excessive absenteeism, etc).

I got a 45 in AP Physics with 0 absenses.for the 2nd marking period

Were you cutting classes / excessively absent in the first marking period? Since Mr. Barclay is still recovering from knee surgery, stop by my office and make an appointment to discuss the details.

I had 0 absences in total for the first and second marking period. I'm failing the class because the physics is just too hard for me. I have Mr. Horvitz by the way. I also thought 50 was a lowest you can get without any attendance issues.
