"games will actually be flash cards" - Nope. They will be on "mini cds" called UMDs. The cds can hold 1.8gb of data (might I add, it's quite innovative. It holds more than a CD-R/RW does! That's quite impressive.)
"64 bit, 128mb video card" - Where did you get this info? I highly doubt that a handheld will have graphics on-par with with a PC. Hell, even tv-consoles don't have anything close to it yet (unless you count the Infinium Phantom, which is literally a PC stuffed in a box.)
All-in-all, it seems somewhat innovative except for the fact that it requires a Memory Stick (is this what you meant by flash card?) to save games. This is because the CDs the games are on are write protected. Such a waste of money for the end user.
Personally, I think the Nintendo DS is much more innovative than this. Dual Screens, ability to save on the catridges, Wi-Fi. Much better than the PSP, IMO.

i really like the wi-fi feature, you can play games with other people on the street or in school (i hope tech doesn't encrypt the wireless network)
too bad the phantom didn't enter production, that would've been so cool, you could've had any game that you wanted a home, you just had to download it.
btw most vid consoles have 64bit VUs (vector units) the PS2 has 2- 64 bit VUs "hyperthreading" together in the MIPS processor. 128 mb is a lot if you think about
i wonder what the screen's gonna be TFT or SXGA or the new thing called WUXGA(or something like that, not feeling that good today :? )

You're comparing apples and oranges. The vector unit has to do with the CPU, not the GPU. A 128 mb graphics card in a console? Even if you were talking about RAM, it is still WAY off. It is just too much for a console at this time. A more accurate figure would be 4mb of VRAM(graphics) and 32 mb of system RAM.
Consoles are always overestimated. I know a lot of people who think consoles are better than their "old" PCs at gaming. Wrong! Even an old computer (5yr+?) could trounce a console. Consoles play at very low resolutions, which explains why they run so good on such !@#$py hardware. However, to the average consumer, it looks "teh best." Ignorance.

Now, the Blu-Ray discs, which will be used in the PS3, are innovative. They can hold up to 48GBs or somewhere around there when dual-layered. Should be very interesting
The price of the PSP will definitely not be less than 199 in my mind. The DS is 149, and the PSP is 20x better than it, imo. Bigger screen, better graphics, more features, etc. I say a price of 200-300 is to be expected. The PSP should be out somewhere, if not here, def in Japan, by Christmas. Although a recent report came out that said the date may have to be pushed back a few months into 2005. It will be worth the wait.
PS3 will be shown off at E3 2005, Japan release expected by end of 2005, US release by 2006 E3.
