You should receive a letter soon as well. If not, you can always talk to Mr. Kaelin in 7C1.
If anything, I know that last year, the dates that Juniors were supposed to take yearbook photos was posted in the center section of the cafeteria for a couple of days.

Most teachers are familiar with the NHS Application process. They have written recommendations for many students before.
I don't think the recommendation needs to be in a sealed envelope. I know I didn't have to put the recommendation my teacher gave me in a sealed envelope, for NHS at least.

The school has information on the Aerospace Engineering major on its website here: http://www.bths.edu/...c/Aerospace.jsp
I don't know much about the music program, so I won't be able to help you out there, sorry.
In your freshman year, you will take most of your classes with the same people, your "cluster." The people who are in your cluster are randomly assigned, so you have no control over that. At the end of your freshman year, you can apply for Honors and Advanced Placement classes in your sophomore year. These classes continue to separate the student body from your sophomore year to your senior year.
I don't know if there's an Intel research program at the school. Sorry.
The day ends at different times for different students depending on the schedule you get. This year, most students end their day at 3:08pm. The school is playing around with the schedule next year because of new mandates from the Department of Education, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next year.
There is no school-wide swim test, but you might be one of the lucky few to get swim gym, meaning you will have to swim.
The doors are fairly heavy, but you'll get used to them. No worries.

Townsend Harris and Brooklyn Tech are both extremely good schools. I'm not sure if your freshman grades will be a factor in determining if you can transfer into Townsend Harris, but your freshman grades do play a large part in determining your GPA. Of course, you'll want to do your best anywhere you go, but as extra incentive, having dismal freshman year grades may influence the decisions that the colleges you apply to make about your application. I know college sounds like something you won't have to deal with for a long time, but believe me, it's right around the corner.

This might sound stupid, but whats Gateway :o? BTW, if I didn't take the Earth Science regents in 8th grade do I have take Earth science in 9th grade? Or do I just move on to biology. I know for math that I have to take Integrated Algebra in 9th grade since i didn't take it this year but idk if its the same for Earth science. Will I be able to take AP Calculus BC in 12th grade if I start with Integrated Algebra in 9th? And does Brooklyn Tech provide Chinese as a foreign language?
Gateway is a 4 year major in Brooklyn Tech that you must sign up for in 8th grade. You have to take a summer program before your freshman year to be able to continue in the major. I'm not the best person to talk to about this, but I believe the courses in Gateway are designed for people who want to go into the field of medicine in the future.
Most incoming Freshmen start with Biology, unless they have already taken Biology, in which case they move onto Physics.
You will be able to take AP Calculus BC in your senior year if you start out taking Algebra in 9th grade, provided you complete and pass all your math classes.
Chinese is offered as a foreign language in Brooklyn Tech.
