No school has "requirements" but Penn State's AVERAGE GPA are 89 and 1900 out of 2400.
But students get accepted with MUCH LOWER.

No I think this person is talking about how if you're a new member of NHS they give you a new ID card because you need a card with their symbol on it for certain events. I would check with one of the NHS execs.

If you have any more questions, don't be afraid to ask. :) You can definitely just message me too, if its like personal or whatever, I guess! :) I have been researching and going crazy about college since Freshman year... (I should have been focusing on my grades, but thats another story...)
So, yeah EA DEFINITELY gives you a better chance, and if you don't get accepted EA, I do believe some schools (or all?) throw you into the pool with regular applicants again just in case. I think also because EA they don't look at your 1st semester grades to determine your admissions, so if they put you in RD, then you have a better shot if you retook SATs or got higher grades :) but EA can only help, not hurt.

Early Decision is when you apply to a school early, and if you get accepted, you are FORCED to go to school there. They usually get your application response to you by December/January. (I believe there may be exceptions based on Financial Aid about being forced to attend, but you'd have to research that.... and other than that, there is no way to get out of it.)
Early Action is when you apply to a school early, they respond to you early (Dec-Feb.), but you are NOT forced to go there.
Priority is for schools with ROLLING admissions (ie Penn State, there are other schools, but not sure which) where you can apply to their school at any time but if you want to get into a certain school/major (school as in like "School of Communications" or "School of Biological Sciences", like the departments, etc.) you should apply by that deadline. Even though its "priority", you should treat it like a regular deadline.

I literally stood still in the staircase for a good 20 seconds, then moved four steps, waited another 20 seconds, and the rest of it did not move fast at all. When you have to get from 1st to 5th in 4 minutes, that time is important, especially when it could be avoided...
