Grade Appeal

I just have the feeling that I'm gonna need to appeal my grade for a certain class so here is my question:

Since we have to submit a midyear report, would a grade appeal come into effect in time so that colleges don't see a horrid grade?

I know I might be judging too soon, but I'm already about to punch my teacher in the face. (NOT AN ACTUAL THREAT. JUST FIGURATIVE.)
And from what I've heard from my friends, appealing to the teacher himself doesn't work out very well.

Tech admin, PLEASE HIRE BETTER TEACHERS. I'm sure you can do better.

When do we get our logins? My teachers are already bugging me about it, telling us to check our grades on it. I have no way to get my grades since they've all decided not to write the grades on the papers anymore. So, I want my god damn Skedula info.

And why the heck does it sound so lame? Skedula? Really?!?

Up and Down Staircases!

What happened to the signs on the wall that indicated which is which? I'm getting annoyed with all of the freshmen going up/down the wrong staircase. It took me almost 5 minutes to go up three floors today. Even for the first day, that's a bit ridiculous.

FOR FRESHMEN:
THE BACK STAIRCASE IS THE DOWN STAIRCASE.
THE FRONT STAIRCASE IS THE UP STAIRCASE.
DO US ALL A FAVOR AND FOLLOW THE RULES.

Advice for New Techies

I'd thought it would be nice to make a thread where each of us share a tidbit of advice with the incoming freshies. Try to keep it PG-13.
Here, I'll start:

Froshies, you better do your community service ASAP. It's a pain to do it during the summer before senior year. Trust me, I've been there.
